Hemant was born and bought up in Delhi and passed out from from DPS Mathura Road in 1987. In school, Hemant was a member of the school choir and he pursued his interest in music ever since. His younger sister also was a DIPSITE from 1988 and now stays in Amristar. Hemant did BA in English Literature from Hindu College Delhi University. In early 1990's he migrated to USA where he completed his BA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from De Paul University, Chicago, a state where he spent most of his time.
